Arriba Dana Drake

Thomas A. Lathrop

On September 21, 1987, Dana Drake died in Virginia after a year-long bout with cancer. He was the former Cervantes Society Bibliographer, and one of the Associate Editors during the first years of the Society. Part of his scholarly production includes four volumes of Cervantine bibliography. I am sorry to say, since I am the publisher of the last of these, that his An Analytical and Bibliographical Guide to Criticism on Don Quixote (1790-1893) did not appear as a published book until four days after his death.
